BISE Lahore Intermediate Part II Result: Top 2 Positions
Lahore, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore (BISE Lahore) announced Intermediate Part II result 2010 today on 4th September 2010 and award distribution ceremony among position holders held in Al Hamra Hall. Total 141467 students appeared in the examination and 73501 declared pass with pass percentage of 51.96 %.
The pass percentage among boys is 43.09% while among girls is 61.38%. Total 72909 boys candidates appeared and 31420 boys got pass while 68558 girls appeared in the intermediate part II exams and 42081 declared pass.
Muhammad Ali Aun (Roll#7385) got overall 1st position by getting 1041 marks and he is the student of GC University Lahore. 2nd position was got by Mr Samran Asim (Roll#7386), student of GC University Lahore and he got 1031 marks. Maryam (Roll#6055) student of KIPS Intermediate Girls College Johar Town got 3rd position. All these 3 students are the student of Pre-medical group.
Pre-Medical among Boys
Muhammad Ali Aun (Roll#7385) got 1st position by getting 1041 marks and 2nd position was got by Mr Samran Asim (Roll#7386 by getting 1031 marks. 3rd position was shared by 3 students Momam Khadam (Roll#9009), Muhammad Junaid Alvi (Roll#7352) and Rana Adil Farman (Roll#7357) with 1020.
Pre-Medical among Girls
First position of pre-medical among girls got by Maryam(Roll#6055) with 1030 marks. Izzah Javed (Roll#2458) and Maryam Afzal (Roll#2485) both got second position by getting 1029 marks. Third position got by Arfa Ahmed (Roll#2558) with 1026 marks.
Pre-Engineering among Boys
Hassan Iftikhar (Roll#22037) got first position in pre-engineering group with 1021 marks. Second position shared by 3 students Muhammad Umar (Roll#19518), Saqib Ahmed (Roll#18017) and Hamad Shakil (Roll#22028) with 1020 marks. Saud Ahmed (Roll#18129) got third position with 1019 marks.
Pre-Engineering among Girls
Sumaiyya Farooq (Roll#15800) and Hafiza Sidra Iqbal (Roll#15081) shared the 1st position with 1012 marks. Maryam Aslam (Roll#15907) got 2nd position by getting 1010 marks. Munazza Fatima (Roll#17013) and Iqra Sabghat ullah (Roll#16988) shared 3rd position by getting 1009 marks.
is the chief guest at the ceremony. He distributed the prizes among position holders of different groups. He said while addressing the ceremony that the position holders have done lot of work but the active role of parents, teachers and institutions is behind the success of the students. He appreciated the heads and teachers of institutions whom students got positions.
He concluded by the remarks that as you all know our Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif is very passionate about the education. He said about CM “He loves position holders but unfortunately he could not come to the occasion due to the flood situation in the country. He sent his message to congratulate the students who got positions and their teachers”. He also inform the media audience that now the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore going to introduced that computerized answer sheet to reduced chance of unfair means in exams.
While talking to media students said that our education system is just old and based on cramming. Most of the students said that they are fully disappointed by our politicians especially due to fake degrees. Muhammad Ali Aun 1st position holder said that if our politicians give priority to the national interests instead of national interests then situation will be changed. Maryam Aslam said we should change the cramming system with a system which make students creative not crammer. Marhaba Nemat said “If I would be a education minister I will change the course books which are very low level according to A and O level”. She further said when I got in college, got many problems with compare to O level students. Sumaiyya Farooq said in our education system students have to study in academies with colleges’ government should do something to change this situation. If academies are so necessary then colleges should provide that facility.
