Getting fit was never as easy as ace fitness expert Namita Jain made it, through her now-hugely-successful book ‘Jaldi Fit’!

The roaring success of this extremely popular title in the wellness space was celebrated with pomp on Wednesday afternoon at Taj Lands End — Hospitality Partner for the event — with the gorgeously fit Deepika Padukone as chief guest. The Title Sponsor for the event was Nutralite. ‘Jaldi Fit’, authored by Namita Jain, is published by Times Group Books, the publishing division of The Times of India Group in association with Nutralite — Healthier than butter.

Namita Jain, a highly-qualified wellness expert and clinical exercise specialist elaborated about ‘Jaldi Fit’ saying, “My book is not just a book but a complete exercise plan that can be followed by people of all age-groups, right in the comfort of their home. The basic thought behind this book was that today we lead an extremely hectic life and find it difficult to take time out to exercise. ‘Jaldi Fit’ — Your Complete Fitness Plan is designed such that it breaks through the constraint of working out in a gym and instead encompasses an economical and convenient workout regime. A demo DVD that accompanies the book elevates the entire experience through its elucidation.” Flush from the success of ‘Jaldi Fit’, which has sold over 20,000 copies pan-India in the last one year, Namita is now working on a new edition of the same with travel exercises, and will also be soon launching a new book called ‘Jaldifit Kids’.

Deepika, with an enviably Perfect 10 body, also spoke passionately about the need to stay fit. “Being a sportsperson, fitness has been an intrinsic part of my life since childhood. Of course, as an actress, the need for fitness has become all the more important; but irrespective of that, I think one owes it to oneself to maintain a healthy body and mind. And if as per Namita’s guidance, one can spare just 20 minutes every day and follow a holistic approach to fitness, staying away from fad diets and extreme workouts at gyms, fitness will soon become not a ‘task to complete’ but a ‘way of life’!” All in all, it was an enriching, informative evening spent in the company of two lovely women with beautiful bodies and minds!
