Best Education For Young Doctors Urged
LAHORE, Postgraduate Medical Institute (PGMI) Principal Dr Tariq Salahuddin has urged the institution faculty to impart best possible education to young doctors to help them meet professional challenges.
He was addressing two-day training workshop for FCPS paediatrics students at Lahore General Hospital (LGH) on Monday. Prof Dr Agha Shabir Ali conducted the workshop attended by 40 doctors from all over the province. The principal lauded the efforts of Prof Ali for organising the workshop.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Ali said this training workshop would not only enhance the knowledge of postgraduate trainee doctors regarding the diseases of the children but also help them in their examinations.
LGH Medical Superinten-dent Dr Salahuddin Khan highlighted the importance of the training programme and stressed organising such workshops in future as well to upgrade standards of medical education in Pakistan.
