ISLAMABAD: Islamabad College of Arts and Science (ICAS) held a seminar here on Tuesday on admissions and education prospects as well as financial aid policies at the renowned Ivy League Yale College in the chairing of Dr Amin Abdul Malik Gonzalez, Associate Director, Undergraduate Admissions, Yale College.,

Guidance Counselor Ms Flora Mahmood and Senior Principal Ms Iram Naqvi coordinated the event organised at ICAS while Director Nusrat Tahir was also present on the occasion. O and A levels students from ICAS and students from Beaconhouse Rawalpindi, Beaconhouse Margalla Campus, Beaconhouse Girl’s Branch, Headstart, Frobels, and Saint Mary’s Institute also attended the event.

Introducing the students to a plethora of views and ideas towards undergraduate admissions at Yale, Dr Gonzalez gave an idea of what studying in USA meant and the many hurdles that would be faced but the many bounties that lay in wait. This was followed by a general question and answer session for all the students.

The invited guests were also given a short visit of ICAS. They also met the top-tier applicants from good schools, who are interested and qualified in applying to Ivy League institutions.
