Justin Bieber Wins 2010 AMA Artist of the Year
Capping off quite the successful evening, Justin Bieber was the big winner at the 2010 American Music Awards in Los Angeles, California on Sunday evening (November 21).
With the show being held at Nokia Theatre LA Live, the “Baby” hitmaker ended up being awarded with the annual event’s top prize – Artist of the Year.
Being doted with multiple trophies during the AMAs, Bieber also picked up honors for Pop/Rock male, Favorite Album and Breakthrough Artist of the Year.
While accepting the Artist of the Year honors, Justin thanked mention and best friend Usher, as he told the audience, “I really was embraced by a man named Usher Raymond. It would be only right if I invited him up here to share it with me.”
Making for quite the musical extravaganza, performers at the 2010 AMAs included the likes of Rihanna, Ke$ha, Miley Cyrus, Ke$ha and Christina Aguilera, among many others.
