Shakira Performing on the Closing Ceremony of FIFA World Cup 2014
Colombian pop star Shakira is poised to score a FIFA World Cup hat-trick since announcing that she will perform before the final match in Rio de Janeiro on 13th July, 2014. Shakira will headline the pre-match closing ceremony, making it her third consecutive World Cup performance. Shakira has confirmed she will perform “La La La” featuring Brazilian artist Carlinhos Brown at the closing ceremony of the FIFA World Cup.
The track, which has been billed as this year’s official World Cup anthem, which is “We are One” by Pitbull. Shakira’s “Waka Waka”, feat. Freshlyground, was the official song of the 2010 FIFA World Cup and she also performed “Hips Don’t Lie” at the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Berlin.
