International Cricket Council chief Haroon Lorgat will be “disappointed” if a tribunal finds the Pakistan players accused of spot-fixing not guilty. Lorgat insists the International Cricket Council will deal firmly with the Pakistan players facing spot-fixing charges should they be found guilty.
Seamers Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir and previous Test captain Salman Butt will have their hearings in front of an ICC Anti-Corruption Tribunal in January. They are currently suspended due to charges relating to the fourth Test against England in the summer.
Talking to Dunya News, former PCB chairman Sheharyar Khan said that Haroon Lorgat’s statement was very irresponsible and PCB should file protest aagainst it.

Former Test Cricketer Sarfaraz Nawaz said that Haroon’s should not give such statement before the completuion of inquiry. He said it seems Haroon has made his mind to penalise Pak players. He urged PCB to take action against Logart.
