Southwestern Pakistan areas hit by a powerful 7.8-scale earthquake on September 24, 2013. According to the US Geological Survey earthquakes touched as far as the Indian capital Delhi.
The earthquake in Pakistan hit 100 kilometers area of the country at 4:30 pm local time. A southwest city in Baluchistan province, at a complexity of 15 kilometers.
Initially the United States Geographical Survey report the earthquake is 7.4 scale but later they changed the figure with 7.8. The local meteorological office of Pakistan gave the as 7.7.
The latest quake was very powerful and it touched the areas of areas of Sindh province that included Karachi and Hyderabad.
Balochistan government spokesman declared over 208 deaths and over 340 people have been injured.
The federal and provincial government starts the medical facilitation. However, the injured people who are admitted in local hospitals are facing problem for treatment.
