A Man Found Dead in Lahore
A 36-year-old man was found dead in the jurisdiction of Badami Bagh police on Monday. The deceased was identified as Muhammad Ibrahim, a resident of Badami Bagh. Police said the victim went to a local madrassa near Asman Chowk to drink water where he suffered a heart attack and died on the spot. Police handed over the body to his family. Meanwhile, the body of 60-year-old unidentified addict was found in the Qilla Gujjar Singh police area. Police said the deceased was a drug addict and died due to drugs overuse. Some locals spotted his body lying beside a road and informed the police about it. Police shifted the body to city morgue for autopsy.
Boy killed on road: A 14-year-old youth was killed and his friend injured when a speeding van hit them near the motorway toll plaza in the Shairakot area. Police said the deceased, unidentified so far, was on his way home along with his friend on a motorbike when a speeding van hit them near the toll plaza. As a result, both sustained severe injuries and they were rushed to hospital where one of them was pronounced dead while the condition of the other victim was stated to be out of danger
