Rescue 1122 Training Ends
THE director general, Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) while concluding a one-week instructor training workshop here at Emergency Services Academy said that the Emergency Services Academy would conduct the training and follow the standards of Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council of Ireland.
The training for the instructors and officers of Punjab Emergency Service was conducted by DRIP of Ireland. The training course included Cardiac First Responder (CFR) and Instructor Courses. This training for the officers of Rescue1122 has been conducted for continuous upgrade of their knowledge and skills.
In the training not only the officers of Emergency Services Academy but also the community training officers from 24 districts of Punjab participated to ensure quality training of community emergency response teams in all these districts.
Punjab Emergency Service Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer specially thanked DRIP Secretary General Dr Shehzad Khurram, National Ambulance Services College Director Hughes Mccarten and NASC Chief Instructor Shane Knox who conducted the training.
