Unidentified Shooter Injures LHC Judge’s Son-in-law
According to details, the victim Mohsin, 40, the son-in-law of Justice Asad Munir, was going to the justice’s house located in Gulberg along with his wife Hariba, his son and a maid for Iftari. As they approached near Mini Market, an unidentified motorcyclist collided with them. The motorcyclist started quarreling with Mohsin and as the latter got out of his car, the motorcyclist took out his pistol and fired at him. Resultantly, Mohsin sustained two bullet wounds in his abdomen and leg, while the motorcyclist managed to escape the scene. Locals immediately informed Rescue 1122, whose officials, after reaching the scene, rushed Mohsin to Services Hospital where doctors have stated him to be in critical condition. The Ghalib Market police has registered a case against the unidentified motorcyclist and started searching for the accused.
Also, a seven-year-old boy was crushed to death by a speeding car in the jurisdiction of Mozang police.
The deceased was identified as Mazhar, a resident of Mozang area. Police said the victim was crossing the Ferozepur Road when a speeding car ran him over, as a result of which he sustained severe injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he breathed his last.
Separately, a 25-year-old youth was knocked down by a speeding van in Chauburgi. The deceased was identified as Adnan. Police said the victim was waiting for a bus near the Chauburgi bus stop when a speeding van hit him, as a result of which he received severe injuries and died on the spot.
Also, a 40-year-old unidentified man was found dead from a drain in the Kahna area.
Police said the deceased, yet to be identified, had been murdered by some unidentified persons who later threw his body into the drain.
Meanwhile, a 36-year-old man was electrocuted in the Kot Lakhpat police precincts.
The deceased was identified as Irfan, a resident of Ismail Nazar. Police said the victim was repairing an electric motor pump when he received a severe electric shock. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he expired. Police handed over the body to his family.
Meanwhile, a 50-year-old unidentified man was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the Bhatti Gate police precincts. Police said the deceased, still to be identified, was a drug addict and had died due to excessive usage of drugs.
